Every child is different – it’s no surprise that they learn differently, too.

 

We offer programs for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

 

Age-Appropriate Education Programs

Our programs are designed to stimulate the positive thinking process and development of skills in the young children according to the age-appropriate education programs.
Young children’s physical and motor development affects their cognitive, communication, social and emotional development and readiness for school. Physical development pertains to children’s physical growth, while motor development refers to movements of large muscles (gross motor) and small muscles (fine motor).

Exploration and Discovery

• Interest in colors, shapes, patterns, and pictures
• Uses senses to explore people, objects, and the environment
• Pays attention and exhibits curiosity in people, objects and the environment.
• Makes things happen and watches for results and repeats actions

Problem Solving

• Begins to develop interests and skills related to numbers and counting
• Experiments with different uses for objects
• Shows imagination, creativity, and uses a variety of strategies to solve problems
• Applies knowledge to new situations

Gross Motor Skills

• Demonstrates increasing balance, stability, control, and coordination
• Moves hand, legs, body and arms with increasing coordination
• Develops increasing ability to change positions and move body from place to place
• Moves body to achieve a goal

Fine Motor Skills

• Uses hands or feet to touch objects
• Develops muscle control and coordination
• Coordinates hand-eye movements
• Uses gears and different actions on objects

Memory

• Distinguishes familiar people, places, and things.
• Shows aptitude to acquire and process new material.
• Recalls and uses information in new situations.
• Quests for missing or hidden objects.

Listening and Understanding

• Listens with interest to language of others
• Responds to nonverbal and verbal communication of others
• Begins to understand the conversation

Communication and Speaking

• Uses consistent sounds, gestures, or words to communicate for a variety of purposes
• Imitates sounds, gestures, signs, or words
• Uses language to engage in simple conversations

Literacy

• Begins to recognize and understand symbols
• Attention and interest in songs, rhymes, and stories
• Develops interest in and involvement with books / materials
• Begins to develop interest and skills related to writing and reading.

Imitation and Symbolic Play

• Uses objects in new ways or in pretend play
• Express creativity and imagination using imitation in pretend play.

Self-Awareness

• Shows awareness of relationship to family, friends and social group
• Expresses need through facial expressions, sounds, or gestures
• Develops cognizance of self as separate from others
• Shows confidence in increasing aptitudes.

Trust

• Differentiates between familiar and unfamiliar faces.
• Establishes relationships with primary caregivers
• Shows emotional acquaintances/attachment to others while beginning to show independence
